List of Common Error Codes & Resolutions

E-050 C-Point – machine has failed to return the main shaft position to its at-rest position (270 degrees) after it last stopped. If AUTO does not clear this error, turn off the Brake from Maintenance mode, go to the back of the machine, remove the 2 round black rubber caps , insert a 3mm Allen wrench into the socket of the main shaft dial and try to manually turn the dial clockwise until C point is at the pointer (270 degrees). While doing this, turn the shaft all the way around to make sure it can do so without any resistance.
E-018 Main Shaft – unusual mechanical resistance was encountered as the main shaft tried to turn. In troubleshooting, first disable the machine Brake from maintenance mode (the Brake button will be highlighted in pink when this is done), then go to the back of the machine, remove the 2 x round 1-inch black rubber access covers and with a 3mm hex / Allen wrench, try to turn the main shaft clockwise by hand. Make sure it is not blocked from turning, and will turn all the way around. It should turn smoothly with only a little resistance. If there is blockage or resistance, attempt to find the source and remove it. Be sure to leave the main shaft at 270 degrees after turning the dial, and re-enable the Brake by pressing that button again.
E-021, 022, 024 – needle move, needle center. The head failed to move enough left-right to completely to the current needle position. It may be off even slightly, so try moving the knob in small increments, ensuring the red mark on the knob aligns with the red mark on the machine body. Also ensure them main shaft is at C point (270 degrees).
E-020, 026 – needle detect, needle differ. Machine is unsure or incorrect about which needle number is currently sitting over the needle plate.
E-051, 052 – C and L sensors may be dirty or out of alignment with the shaft. Access the C and L sensors, clean, and check that the slit disk for each sensor is appropriately centered between each set of sensor nodes.
E-060 X-Limit, E-061 Y-Limit – Part of the design will sew outside of allowable limits. Adjust design position, reduce size, or select a different hoop.
E-114 Id Over –too many designs in memory. Go into the Pattern screen and delete 1 or more designs to clear memory space.
E-190 Cut Blade –the moving knife has failed to fully return to the closed position. To resolve, remove the needle plate and inspect the moving knife, removing any bits of thread or other debris that may be impeding its movement, then attempt to cycle the cut system again to clear the error.
E-193 Catcher – this is caused by the catcher (upper thread hook) failing to fully retract upwards. This can either be due to a catcher problem, or, if the thread is still not cut after a cut cycle, the catcher tried to grab the uncut thread, which is strong enough to prevent the catcher from retracting. In the latter case, the machine had a problem cutting, which in turn caused the catcher error.
